‘without dance, what’s the ‘pointe’?’

Weald School of Dance Ballet, perhaps the most famous dance form, offers the chance to pursue a classical technique; the pursuit of which can be challenging but very rewarding, resulting in elegance, strength and control of movement.

Training can begin as young as three for boys and girls, learning musicality, sensitivity, spatial and body awareness and developing coordination and strength.

The Weald School of Dance follows the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus. The R.A.D is an internationally recognized society that offers the chance for children to gain certificates and medals from the age of five, up to professional grades.

The emphasis is placed on fulfilling potential and getting the best out of each pupil, ensuring it is a positive experience. Exams are not compulsory. The opportunity to perform comes every year with the school producing a Christmas show and dancing at fetes in the summer.

We also offer an adult ballet class.

Classes are held at  Langley Village Hall
and Sutton Valence Village Hall
